I can't find this information on their website so I thought I would ask here and see if anyone knew...
Does anyone know if you sign a payment installment plan with the IRS and it is just too much for you to pay each month if they allow you to lower it after the fact? I know we qualified in the beginning for less than we are paying now, but we thought we could afford the $100/mth and well we thought very wrong. But, as we all know the IRS is not one bill you can ignore so Im trying to see where we stand with help. Thanks |

This is the only thing I could find. http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/...156483,00.html I would suggest contacting them ASAP.

I am about to call them but I am so scared... I don't know why. Its my anxiety disorder kicking in full force. I have to fight not to be "the ostrich" I would rather give in that face confertation... which I have been trampled on most of my 26yrs for... I have to do this. I can't afford the payment plan DH set up and so since he works 12hr shifts and my name is on the return I have to man up... Damn...
