USAA help?! - Financial Management

Just curious wat do you all think of USAA as a bank? DF and i are thinking about switching banks once we are married and thats wat we were thinking about going with. But im kinda hesitant because it seems to me that evernthing is done online and i dont know if i am completely ok with that i would like some opinions on this or if im wrong about it tell me please i just wanna get all the information.

I love having USAA.... The only thing that I have a problem with is DH and I dont qualify for the Deposit @ Home option because we do not have a credit card, or a loan with them. So we keep our Navy Federal account so we can cash checks that family sends us.

I absolutely love them, best bank I've ever had. The only thing that's even slightly inconvenient is that I have to mail in my deposits because I don't qualify for the deposit at home option, but even at that, they're processed within 5 days usually and it hasn't been much of an issue.

how do you qualify for the deposit at home option? is it just having a credit card or loan with them...or is there more to it?

I love USAA but as mentioned ^^ you have to have a credit card or loan with them to get the deposit at home deal so we also keep another account just to cash any checks we get. Otherwise USAA is awesome and they're always helpful. And you get paid a day earlier!

I was told by USAA that you have to have a credit card, or a loan with them to qualify for it.

They are great! It sucks sometimes them being totally online and having that extra for just cashing checks but IMO in the long rung its worth it

We just have our car loan with them and insurance but I love them.

We bank with Wachovia bc my work still gives me paper checks and I rather just go to the bank and make a deposit then scan it.
