Credit Report Question.

So, I have it set up to where I can check anytime I want to see my credit report, I get an email tonight stating that something was reported "negative" to it.

I've never heard of the company, no idea who it is, and I don't think I ever opened it with them.

It's with NATIONAL FINANCIAL GROUP

When I google the website, it comes up with a auto loan?? I have my loan threw GMAC and I'm NEVER late!!

I can't even find a phone number or who to even begin to start calling on this???

Any ideas?


Edit to add- I found a phone number. Long distance. I'll be calling them in the morning.

I would google and call the company and also file a dispute though the website.

Not sure which crdit bureau company it was but most of them will let you file a dispute through the website.

well it seems as if someone has opened up something under your name. You need to figure out who you go through to file the dispute and get everything removed. Not to mention make sure nothing else is going on as well as get some identity protection. The site you do your credit check through should be able to answer and help you with the removal part.

i think that is a collection agency. Call the company you have the credit alert thru and have them explain/help. That's the point of the credit alert. good luck!
