On my 3rd attempt to figure out why Toyota keeps sending DH 30 days past due notices, FINALLY someone was able to answer the question.

Ever since DH set up his car payment when he FIRST bought the car, someone somewhere made an error and set up the payments to begin a month late. So this month's payment was really March's payment and next month we get to make 2 car payments. Yay.

Did I mention he's owned the car since 2006? So he's been 30 days past due since then.

I spent all morning figuring out little financial issues that he had pre-Torie.

I swear, where do these companies find these morons? Is it like a question on the application? "Do you have an IQ that is lower than a lemming? Yes No"

If it makes you feel better my DH set up an automatic payment for after the due date. Luckily I caught it before it was 30 days late.

Yes, and while I'd love to blame DH for this error, he said all he did was give them his bank account information in the first place. They set up the payment through Toyota Financial's website. I think you're right about the IQ score colorado.

I bought a Toyota last year and I was supposed to get bills in the mail, but still havent. Thankfull I pay online! (I've called about four times. They say, well we're sending them. Have you moved?" NO *******, I told you last month Iv'e been here three years!"

I had another friend who was also receiving late notices on a payment that she thought was late. So either its a small world or something fishy is going on that Toyota is slowly uncovering/not taking blame for.

We kept getting 30day late bills too, except from Chrysler. I was so confused trying to figure things out after we got married. I always just assumed it was DH's fault... but now I'm wondering if it really was. Not that it matters anymore. Did they report him late on his credit? DH never was reported... that would suck if they did!

Yes! That is what tipped me off in the first place. Dh and I had our credit reports in hand and were figuring out what needs fixing since his is screwed to the max. I don't feel like I can fight it because I can't prove it was DH or Toyota. If he wants to change the errors, he'll have to call Toyota himself once he gets a phone and internet in Italy.
