3 years goal planning - Financial Management

We've had ourselves on a long term budget the past 3 years for the goal of living just about debt free. And I'm freaking ecstatic to say that today I made my last payment to the credit card.

Our only debt now is our mortgage. No school loans, no car loans, nothing but the house.

We borrowed some ideas from Dave Ramsey, wrote out everything we spent and owed on a week to week basis and kept the faith that someday we'd be free. And today is that day. I begrudgingly give a nod to the Sandbox since the pay over there this past year has helped speed the process along. Anyway, just wanted to share our experience, I'm really, really happy today.

Fantastic! I can't wait to be in the same boat.
I am in the middle of our budget debt payoff plan. I was on a faster track when we were getting great OCOLA but now it's gone so I had to revamp it but I paid off nearly 20K in 2 years. I can't wait to make that final payment next year.
