Renovation/Rehab loans
We are looking at getting a Rehab/Renovation loan to add 1000 sq ft to the house. It will be cheaper to do this than buy another house. If I were to buy another house, I would need over 2000sqft and 5 acres. That's 200k here. The total for the renovation and our original loan will be apprx 160k. We spoke with Wells Fargo because they do a hud loan. They want escrow and I do my own escrow.

Does anyone know of any other lenders that do these loans? USAA doesn't.
