What a great spring break I've had...til today.
My boss is the sweetest old man EVER...he's in his 70s and he has a law practice out of his home/farm (dont' ask). I'm home on spring break and I've been working in his office to get a little extra cash for when i go back to school on sunday. Well, he hasn't been looking very well this whole week and today he went to the hospital for tests and he's going to be there for a few days.

I come home to talk to my mom about going into the city (DC) tomorrow for my bfffffffff's birthday (I'M 21 and she's 24!!!)....mom starts crying saying I'm going to get murdered and raped...really? seriously mom?

I try to calmly talk to her about it and instead she F*CKING throws it in my face that I owe her $3000...WHAT THE F*CK DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH GOING INTO DC FOR A F*CKING NIGHT!?...she would have had the $3000 if she have F*CKING cashed the g*ddamn check I gave her IN OCTOBER. but she f*CKING didn't. she said she was going to wait until this summer so she wouldn't be taking ALL of my money away from me...I was so infuruated that I went to go look at my bank account to see how much I could write a check to her...

looked at my bank account and saw I was -$175 in the hole!!! WHAT THE F*CK HAPPENED TO MY MONEY?!? I've been saving and saving and saving because I knew I have to pay my mom back! I'm on the verge of a panic attack and my only resort is to ask my boss for money...which he has always told me to talk to him because he understands this whole situation (there's more to this story then I'm telling you...but I'm leaving out a lot because I don't feel like writing a g*ddamn trilogy). Asking my boss is not "bad" because he has always told me that I can come to him if I ever have an emergency or need money and I can always pay him back. He has been like a grandfather to me and I'm on the verge of a panic attack and I'm so stressed because DB hasn't called since sunday and we only got to talk for 2 minutes and 13 seconds because the code red alrams were going off in the sandbox. I need DB and I'm stressed out now this f*cking sh*t happens and my mother has no F*CKING sense of giving me space but by drowning me in my mistakes and throwing even more sh*t back into my face when I'm already down on the g*ddamn ground.

someone. please just tell me what the F*CK to do to get myself out of this mess. I'm always so good about money and I feel like such a horrible person for letting my mom down but also for asking my boss/mentor for money...

I don't knowthat you're actually asking for advice here, even though you are.
First, yeah that is a few sucky situations your in, sorry to hear it.
Check your bank statements on line. Check every transaction. Look for errors or fraud, etc. Maybe your mom DID cash the check?

Like the others said, I would be mostly concerned where my money went. If you knew you saved up, where did they go? Did your mom cash your check? How often do you check your account online?
If your boss is not feeling well then I would not bring it up to him, talk to your mom instead and explain the situation.

hmph. I just made stupid decisions about where I was spending my money. I know where it all went but, I'm more disappointed in myself that I was so irresponsible but since DB is away...we all know what happens... ...I know my mom didn't cash the check because she gave it back to me and said she was going to wait until the summer... such a bad idea! but, I know it's my fault, I'm just praying for a miracle. I'm just going to take the consequences and not ask for money and dig myself slowly out of this hole. I'm just frustrated with everything and I was looking for an easy way out rather than dealing with the situation head on. I'm promising myself to spend my money responsibily and save it! ugh. I feel so stupid. thank you ladies!
