Thank you SO much! Our credit is above 700 and they want to offer us 5.25 and I think I want to shop more for a better deal!

The interest rates change on a daily basis. They go up and down. The first loan (CA) is not a VA loan, but the second one is. We locked in that rate about 2 months ago. I hope that helps.

6.375.
My biggest regret... it was 7% for the longest time, and then it dropped to that and I locked and then the market crashed and it jumped down to 5.something a few days later. I still kick myself! I would be thrilled for 5.25 though, personally. Are you doing a VA? |

Yeah, mello roos can be a *****! But that means the community is usually a lot nicer too...
And I DREADED the HOA fees, but after driving through a few neighborhoods, I'm so ****ing thankful for them! It's worth the $61 a month to see the clean streets, no ****ing cars in the lawn, overgrown yards..... Plus we have a pool too! |
