DEBT - Financial Management

sooo...my husband had a BMW that his father gave him when he got his License ...after awhile it got a bad transmition [my hubbi cant drive 4 s***] lol...so he sold it and bought a brand new [possibly] tryed to get it inspected & come to find out this car had been in a accident and was F***ed Up! so we had to get all these things fixed for it to pass...my hubbi got most of it done but i have to get the windshield replaced [b/c of a crack] & new lights...& get it re inspected & put tags on it..& pay the insurance....background- i dont work...im a SAHM. i babysit a little boy to help his mother so she can work for $50/wk. so i really dont have income til anthony starts being paid...sooo yeah- on top of the car B$ my cell phone [only phone to talk to my husband on] will be cut off if i dont find a way to pay the bill by tomorrow...idk what to do....im goin to have a nervous break down! also-past debt...anthony owes a old bank $200...i have 2 credit cards that need to be paid & i owe a bank $100.. he owes his mother $3000 so far for helping him w/ getting the car fixed too....CAN WE BE ANYMORE IN THE HOLE!@#$% hopefully it'll all turn around....i cant take it!

I hope things work out. You need to consider sitting down with a financial adviser to get a handle on your debt. And DB should too, that way you don't get back in this situation.

when you buy a car like that and they dont disclose that info isnt it a lemon? and cant you either give it back and get your money back or they have to pay for the repairs or you can take them to court?

Yeah...See it was a guy my DH's Uncle knew so my DH gave his Uncle the money to buy it from him...SO we're [DH & his Uncle] fixing whats wrong w/ it [keeping all the receipts] then my DH's Uncle is taking the guy to court to get all my DH's money back...including the money from buying the car...but we need a car for now so there fixing it...

i'm so sorry you're going through all of this!! I hope everything works out for you guys with the car...

as for the banking stuff, i reccomened getting real organized and going to talk to the banks about payment plans so that they don't send it off to a collection agency. Having a little control over that stuff may help that light at the end of the tunnel to get closer...

financial problems are the worst, but you guys will pull through soon!!
