I always feel so accomplished as I'm taping up DH CPs because my life has been crazy since he left (lots of moving to be had) and they can sometimes get stuck on the back burner :mumble

But! I finished CP # 3 tonight, and DH had actually requested all of 3 things this time, and he got all 3! :) Aside from a season of Entourage (his new addiction), some face lotion, and pictures (the requested items), I included some Whether's Original candies, gum, Camo Cookies (yay!!!), cards, and random candy.

But, to amp of the accomplishment for today - I FINALLY finished his calendar!!! :yahoo

That thing has taken nearly 2 months to finish because I kept having problems with the software and then I just didn't have any free time for like 3 weeks. But I finally finished it and now just have to get it printed!! I showed it to my MIL last week and she seriously got choked up looking at it, which bodes well for DH reaction as well.

I decided to personalize it with his favorite NFLs team entire season schedule for this year using icons for each of the teams and putting them painstakingly onto the days they played. And then added birthdays and holidays. And all of the top portions (the "picture part") are wedding photos in different arrangements with quotes from different songs that make me think of him. I'm SO happy with it, and can't wait to have it printed tomorrow!

Oh, and btw - it's September! She said she would have it taken care of via the warranty on the appliance, but since it was Friday when I wrote her they wouldn't come until Monday or Tuesday. Fine. It seems like an easy fix, just a broken seal or something.

Soooooo now, of course since my parents are coming tomorrow, our guest toilet has been running non-stop all day and it STINKS. Like a dirty, rotten vagina. It stinks up the whole front of the house. Should be an easy fix- all evidence points to a broken wax seal. So I emailed her tonight, she'll get it tomorrow, again on a Friday. Can she really say "they'll come on Monday or Tuesday" about a toilet that is potentially letting in sewer gas?

I have no idea what the rules are when you rent a house. I'm new to ALL of this. I'm not even entirely sure if I can consider myself officially a girlfriend, but I met a wonderful SEAL a year ago while working a party he was attending. Met him again this year, all went out that night, one thing led to another...:giggle. Anyway, I went about my life thinking it was just a fling, but he kept pursuing and I kept my distance. I live in the NY/CT area and figured he was going home and that was it. I finally gave in and we began talking regularly and there are obviously feelings there. He then told me he was leaving for about two months, but I couldn't arrange to get down to see him before he left :( Anyway, we've been emailing while he's away and I plan on seeing him the minute he gets back. So, I consider myself seeing this man with no other parties involved :) I actually got another email today, saying he's thinking of me and can't wait to be back to see me; totally derailed my concentration, but I was so happy! I'm young, just short of 20, and he is (please, spare me negative reactions!) 36. I'm in school and have paved myself a very successful path. Anyway, this whole deployment thing has sent me for a loop because I realize how much I adore this man and how much I want him to be back! So I'm just here to say hello (sorry for the saga!) and I would love to get to know some of you and learn from you all since you've been doing this for so long!

I looked through the website and it looks like those wax warmers where you put a tea light underneath and it melts the wax-but I saw light bulbs. I have the tea light ones, but I've never seen ones with bulbs.

Also, can you not have candles on base? Is that why they have these?

One of my friends is getting married to a man in the Army in January and is planning to live on base, so I was thinking about getting her one or two of these, especially if they can't have candles.

I love them though, I think they're super cute! I'm just curious about how they work.
