Do you have any idea what he hasn't seen yet? Is he a fan of any kind of sci fi, or a particular type of sci fi?

    All of them?

    I'm a huge sci-fi geek. Crystal's list is great.

I also loved Ex Machina, The Machine and Predestination. The Matrix, Inception, Minority Report, Interstellar, Equilibrium, Snowpiercer, Moon, Sunshine, are some others that are on my top 50 list.

I don't really know what sci fi is, but apparently ex machina was sci fi and it was amazing. Loved it.

Sci fi differs from fantasy or magic in that sci fi is fiction that could potentially (I use that term very loosely) happen someday.

Send him a Firefly boxed set! Serenity is good, but better if you know the show, which is astronomically excellent.

He likes mostly sci fi having to do with outer space. Action sci fi too. I think he wanted anything I could get but I wanna send him good ones.

I haven't seen predestination yet but it's on my list and I've sent that to him already! Hope he likes it too!

Elysium, edge of tomorrow, children of men, oblivion, and district 9 were also a few he showed me and they were awesome!

    Thanks for the suggestions!

I can't recall any good outer space related sci fi that's been recently released. I saw alien outpost recently, or rather tried to watch it all. It is an action alien sci fi movie, but it bored me to tears, and the special effects were awful.
