My dad was 52 when I was born and he is the greatest human alive. I count my lucky stars every day that I have had with him. Also, my dad was able to retire when I was 10 so I actually got more time with him than any of my older siblings. Of course I wish he could live forever, but I wouldn't ever pick a different dad or even just a younger version of my dad if given the opportunity. If Billy Joel is a loving, present father then age really doesn't matter IMO.

I think it's none of anyone else's business what he does in his relationship, but I won't be mad if there's some beautiful Billy Joel lullabies coming out in the next few years

I think it's none of my business, so I don't really have an opinion

Not my family, not my business. Only people who should have an opinion is Billy Joel and his wife.

As long as he's a supportive, loving, active parent there shouldn't be anything to be alarmed about.

And if something happened I'm sure they have a plan to ensure the baby has a good future and is well taken care of.

Ok so my opinion on this is still all jumbled but I have to say my dad was 46 when my sister and I were born. He passed when we were 19 (not saying that billy joel wont live much longer than him), but loosing our father at such a young age impacted us big time! If i had a choice between all the money in the world and having my dad back(or live to atleast see one of us get married and have kids), Id choose my dad in a heart beat! So in some ways I feel that its almost selfish of him to have a child so late in life even if theyll be set for life. Others Im thinking hes billy joel and who wouldnt want to be his son/daughter?!?! Haha

It doesnt effect me either way and im sure billy joel will be a great father just wanted to see what you guys thought
