Netflix *update - got it working!*

    Advertisements
Update: after lots of updating stuff and lots of searching and googling, I got it working. I officially have Netflix now!

So, I feel dumb asking that but I can't figure it out I have a Sony TV, which has wifi and is connected to the internet. Is there something I have to do to use Netflix on it? Like, besides get an account?

As long as your tv has the app, is connected to wifi and you have an account you should be good to go!

I have skype and youtube on it. I think that counts as apps? I mean, there was no Netflix when I bought the tv...

If your TV is that old you might be SOL
I'd hook up your computer with an HDMI cable and watch through your web browser

My tv doesn't have wifi or anything fancy like that, so I went and got a cheap BluRay player that has Netflix and Hulu apps on it. Maybe that would work for you?

Is there no App Store..? Maybe call the customer service or tech support line for the manufacturer. Netflix is basically the reason smart TVs are a thing.
