I think the emotions are accurate, like with deployment and frustration with the military, etc....but the actual situations, mostly no.

They have done a good job of shining the spotlight on some very real issues that are faced by military families - however, the overall show is exactly what it's intended to be, a television drama very loosely based on "life".

No, not really. It's not supposed to be though, it's a drama not a reality show. I always have to tell Chris that when he sits there saying "that's not right, that's not right, that's not right" lol. I do think though, that they did do a very good job with this last episode.

I agree with a PP about being accurate on the emotions, there are so many apsects of life, but I think that the show really takes the time to learn about military spouses and what they deal with...

Now I always tell my BFF, "If only we had some magical Claudia Joy sprinkle dust" cuz no matter what she touches it works out exactly how it should be.

But out of the rest of tv out there - is there a better show for entertainment that beams with military pride? i just love this show!

I refuse to watch the show. Unfortunately a lot of people take the show as a real representation of the military, and end up being disappointed upon realizing that it is just a tv show.

I am not a huge fan of anything that overly romanticizes the military, nor do I spend my time watching things that "depict" military life. I live it every day, why do I want to watch a show about it?
