AFN Shows - Entertainment

AFN Europe plays the same episode of Oprah and CSI everyday. And is playing the last season of most shows (Grey's Anatomy, Army Wives) Yet it has live news and all the late night shows. They also play The Daily show, same episode, twice a day. Why do they do this, when there are so many other shows they COULD be airing and don't. Does anyone know if there is somewhere you can request shows for them to air? Like...they have the Food Network Challenge and Emiril Live. I wanted them to try to get Ace Of Cakes...since it is from the same network.

I was thinking about the same thing... we paid like $300 for that thing and there is never anything new to watch besides movies...

i think they do that because of the people stationed all over the world (time difference)

I am so sick of seeing the same shows on more than once a day too. That's the worse part.

I liked it. Especially AFN Family

I used to watch The Proud Family and Hannah Montana every day after work while cooking dinner.

It's because they negotiate either cheap/for free prices from the networks.
So, because of that - they have a limited choice, or they have to play a season behind.
It all depends on the negotiations with the networks they purchase the shows from.

I miss AFN commercials. Seriously.

And you guys are lucky- when we had AFN it was only ONE channel and the shows were like two years old.

Is that stuipd commissary lady still on there giving her "tip of the day?"

Go www.alluc.org.

They have ALL current shows and movies...sometimes it is hit or miss with the buffering though.
