DH and I just got back from seeing it. I give it 3 of 5 stars. The plot was interesting and the characters were dynamic. But several times there were music-only scenes that showed things happening but gave no details.  DH says it looked like they couldn't come up with good enough ideas but needed to follow the plot. I would see it on DVD. It's good but it's not going on the favorites list any time soon.

I love Ricky Gervais so of course I went in thinking I would laugh constantly. I laughed for the first half, fell asleep during the middle, woke up and didn't miss out on any details. I probably wouldn't watch it again.
