    Goodbye Guiding Light?

Noooo! I just saw on tv that my all time Favorite soap opera is saying goodbye...forever!! This show has sentimental value too Every summer as a kid when I stayed with my grandparents, my grandma watched it everyday before Oprah. I try to watch it when I'm not working but I always read the daily overview on cbs.com. I'm not too sure when the last show is but.... It will be a sad day for me

Grandma's all over will have to find a new show to watch.

It is the ending of an era....or make like in the soaps they will make a last minute, never heard of before, darn near impossible, lightning fast recovery and go on into our grandma years.

Awww I watched that with my Grandma too!! She also watches Bold and Beautiful and Young and the Restless too, but Guiding Light was the only one I ever watched too... I actually know the lady who used to play Cassie's MIL... I think she's on General Hospital now... I love her! hehe

Yes, my mom called this morning and told me she had devastating news, so I prepared to hear that a family member died or something

Then she tells me they are canceling this show.

Guiding Light and As the World Turns are the only ones I keep up with. Bold and Beautiful is CRAZY! That show's characters have some serious issues!
