So - I am a musical addict What are some of your favorites? Right now my playlist features some Wicked, Lion King, Kiss Me Kate, and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Have you seen any on Broadway/West End/wherever? Any you want to see?

Eeee! I love muscials! I'm dying to see the Lion King but I confess I haven't seen many on stage. I've seen Chicago.. that's about it. I would love to see Wicked. I'd also like to see Legally Blonde. I love love love Phantom of the Opera, but I can't ever decide if it's Opera, or Musical. It's sorta just.. both.

We did Guys and Dolls and West Side Story in highschool. (Drama/show choir) I've also seen ByeBye Birdie but that again was highschool.

Opera wise, Madame Butterfly is the only one I've ever gone to see. It's a musical thing hehe I know but not really the same as Broadway.

BUT lol I can't see much of anything anymore. I moved from NorCal to the Boonies of Oklahoma. Culture shock anyone?

I've seen tons on stage through different professional theatres. I've only been to New York once though, I saw La Cage Aux Folles, Rent, and Les Mis. I'm a huge theatre junkie, especially musicals!

Haha, I've never been to Broadway (MS is a far cry from NY!), but we get travelling shows a lot. I've seen Gypsy and Cats in Mississippi, both of which were incredible! I saw Kiss Me Kate when I went to see my friend in DC. And I went to London for Spring Break last year and saw Les Miserables (omgloooove) and The Lion King at West End. I'd love to see Little Women (my favorite book and movie ever), but it's not touring right now

In high school, I was in Sound of Music, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, and Into the Woods. I miss it - I'm just doing theater in college now, not musical theater.

I've seen broadway in chicago and honestly...I prefer smaller venues with good actors. One of the best musicals I saw was at my local high school. They put on a production of joseph and the technicolor dreamcoat that was absolutely amazing...that is so not an easy musical to pull off, especially in a high school. That still stands out in the back of my mind as being one of the best musicals I've seen.

I also love musicals like little shop of horrors...df is in love with phantom of the opera and I just can't really get into it...it grates on my nerves

I LOVE musicals. Singin in the Rain, Annie, Grease, Bye Bye Birdie, The Music Man, Oklahoma, Fiddler on the Roof, the list goes on and on. Movie + Singing = I'll like it.
