I saw him in concert the other night.

He had a horrible cold that caused his voice to drop substantially. The poor guy could barely sing his own songs, but boy did he try. He was sick as a dog, and still sounded amazing.

It was an all request concert, and he played for a little over two hours, and told so many funny stories.

It was so good. When he's not sick he regularly plays for 4+ hours depending on the venue and his mood... but I was so glad he didn't cancel, and even with a shorter show and a lower gravely voice he sounded wonderful
