only lets you record one show while you watch another at the same time slot?? Sundays i like Brothers & Sisters, Army Wives and The Unit....at db's house (they have cox) i could record the 2 and watch the one....actually it let you record 3 i think! Last night i hit record for the other 2 and it told me i couldnt change channels from the one until i stopped recording the other! Was i doing something wrong or is this normal?? anyone know?

it might just be able to record 2 shows, ie 1 you are watching and another you aren't. That is how directv is. it has to do with how many outlets/cables are connected. Each one needs its own line ( but the dvr itself could just be limited to 2 different channels.

    I will miss you SOS...
Please be wary of what you post remember OPSEC is not just another acronym.
