Anyone watch Fringe last night?

It was the series premier. I thought it was pretty good although some things bordered on cheesy. I still think I'll give the series a whirl.

We taped it. Matt wanted to see it. I have no idea what it's even about.

I missed the first 20 minutes, but I caught on quick with my Mom's help during commercials.

It definitely seems promising. It kind of reminds me of heros in that the premise is that there is this whole crazy world going on around you that you have no idea about.

When Flight 627 lands at Boston’s Logan Airport with no signs of life on it, a special task force led by FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham is sent to investigate. Olivia's partner, Special Agent John Scott, is almost killed during the investigation, which leads her to seek the help of Dr. Walter Bishop, an incredibly brilliant man who has been institutionalized for the last 17 years.

Since Bishop's son Peter is the only person who can arrange a meeting, Olivia is forced to let him in on this mysterious situation.
After Olivia's investigation leads them to multi-billion dollar corporation Massive Dynamic, the entire team soon learns that what took place on Flight 627 is just the tip of the iceberg.

It has that and a sort of The 4400 thing about it. I really like the idea, I just hope they don't push it so far it's kitchy.

I thought it was pretty good. Covered my eyes a few times like a dork and DF just laughed at me.

And with JJ Abrams as the co-creator, it did have a "LOST" feeling to it.

Will watch again.

we watched it--the 1st thing that dh said was so thats what really happened to them when they were on their way home--referring to LOST hubby is a dork!

the music was very LOSTesk i did notice that.

Overall we liked it and will continue watching it.

We DVR'd it for me to watch later but my hubby watched it last night. He said it was pretty good but doesn't think it will last. It seems like every show we get "in" to get canceled!
