Ok, I know this movie has been out for a long time...but I just got around to watching it. I have never read the book, so I had no idea what to expect. It was really good, but man I cried my eyes out!! I was so not expecting that at all

Omg, so nice to hear i'm not alone.

i cried for TWENTY minutes. The credits had ended and everything, and my little sister was there like "do you want a glass of water?"

But then she turned on me and texted all her friends saying "My 22 year old sister just cried for half an hour over a kids movie!!" They still make fun of me when they see me.

I've never read it either, but my sis had. OMG I was upset at the end. i really identified with that little girl.

have you read Zinc? It's a kids book. My sis took it to Hawaii when she was like 8, and I read it cos i was bored. For like 3 days after I finished it I was just depressed, and cried like every so often. i apparently "ruined her vacation" for being so emotional. She didnt think it was sad at all!!!

Kids. like 8 and up. It's a popular kids book. Everything else is pretty cool, it just has a semi-sad ending.

i'm just super sensitive. I cried during Dumbo, Father of the Bride, Dream Girls, and two brothers (but that was actually realllllly sad!!!).

I know I wasn't expecting that either and I cried like a big baby. My DH finally watched it while deployed and he was PISSED lol. He was not expecting that at all and it made him really mad.
