Hm. I agree with the sentiment but its a bad move. It just gives Fox more ammo. If they want to declare war on Fox they should just quietly reinstate the Fairness Doctrine.

During bush it was unspoken that if you're republican you don't watch MSNBC...there's always one news station or another that is more liberal or more conservative that the president enjoys more...But waging war? Come on now...Sometimes I feel like high school all over again!

Might as well stick to what they're doing now, it's just as petty.

As if speaking out against the one conservative news source is going to somehow turn everyone who prefers Fox over CNN into Democrats - or Liberals.

People don't work that way.

The Fairness Doctrine, by the way, would affect all news sources - not *just* the conservative ones and once everyone's Rush and Rachel (Maddow) are gone then who's there going to be left to complain about?

There are more important things for the Press Secretary, Obama and his supporters to worry about and discuss than who said what on which news source.

The entire thing is petty and childish. Like Lindsey - I feel like I'm in highschool, again.

Yeah, I know that. It should. Bring it on. I still think it would improve Fox News more than any other network. They shouldn't have a license to make up crap and call it news. NO ONE SHOULD.

They actually (all the fox-news bashers in the media) are the only ones drawing attention to it.
I don't have cable - thus - I don't have Fox News, unfortunately.

And yet I still know what's going on *in* Fox News ... and I shouldn't. If all the other news-sources are so Anti-Fox then I shouldn't be able to turn on the TV and still get the scoop.

There's no such thing as bad PR - if people are talking about it then they're spreading the word.
The worst thing is for everyone to ignore them and not talk about them at all. . .
