So proud of my Uncle!

My uncle is the extremist that "stole" something from this float. Only, he didn't "steal" it. He confronted the float driver, ripped up his float and I am so proud of him for it!

They were denied entry into the parade, so they waited until the parade was over, then drove the route anyway.

I am ticked that the newspaper pretty much gave legitimacy to the float makers cause, and they are getting an ear full for it. My uncle was pretty proud yesterday being called an extremist, but wonders why the Ruhls aren't labeld as such.

You are proud that your uncle destroyed someone else's property? If he ripped it off and took it without permission... isn't that stealing?

I don't condone vandalism of property but I'm glad that float didn't make it through a parade.... Parades are supposed to be fun and celebratory.

While I may think the people that organized the float are nutjobs and knew what they were doing putting the swastikas and crap on their float, they had the right to express it. Your uncle had the right to disagree with it all he wanted. What he did NOT have was the right to destroy their work.
