Clinton also didn't have terrorist attacks to deal with or a war (no matter what you believe about the reasons behind the war). Not to mention the fact that he turned down the chance to detain Osama because he didn't think he was a big enough threat. I'm sorry but comparing a pres in peace time and a pres in war time will always look one sided like that and its dumb.

Just find any way you can to discount the guy even though he did so much good for our country, huh?

Oh my God I said something good, well not even good, just not bad about Bush! Please forgive me! You have your opinions and I have mine. You like Obama and I can't stand him, I think Bush did a better job than most give him credit for especially considering the circumstances and you aparently don't. I have been saying this for years every time someone compares Clinton to Bush and I have yet to have someone prove to me where they are even comparable since the situation were completely different. Honestly, American companies are free to do what they want, it was never illegal to begin with, so I am not sure how 1 President made it possible.

The power of that is strictly in the hands of the consumer, and we failed, miserably.

There was a terrorist attack under Clinton, and a war.

Take it up with the census bureau, how dare they tell the truth. The war excuse is getting old, since we are still at war, yet the excuses don't apply to the current President.

Yes but we also had more support from the people, unlike today's war. Oh and mind you, we got involved in Eurpoe's war when it had nothing to do with us. The main differences between that war and now is that we now have TONS of coverage that we didn't have then and its not just numbers of the dead anymore but its faces and it gets to be more personal and heartbreaking.

They were both responsible for making decisions that benefited this country. Bush CHOSE to ignore congress and engage in a war. BUSH FAILED this country no matter how you look at it... Being in war times isn't an excuse for financially DESTROYING us.
