You know, it has just occurred to me. I do not think I could be President.

I do not have my original birth certificate. The only birth certificate that I can get is the one that names my adoptive parents as my parents. The one with my biological parents is sealed and locked away.

Plus - I would have an issue with obtaining that one for the purpose of public office. That would put two people who made the choice to give up their child for adoption right into the public eye.

That's a non-issue; you won't have to show your birth certificate unless you're a person of color with a foreign-sounding name.
