I know where you're coming from, but the problem is that the VP can't be a "regular joe". It's ESPECIALLY important when the president is suffering from health issues. We need someone who can rise above, I'm sorry to say. I just plain don't trust "Joe Average" to speak for me in a diplomatic setting, and I certainly wouldn't trust "Joe Average" to make executive decisions. That is exactly WHY we hold elections, to pick someone who is going to do a better job than the rest of us schmucks.

After all of the email forward Obama is a terrorist muslim American hating non pledge saying black man crap that has been posted, you didn't think that the "mudslinging" was going to come here? Not everything in that article was her "personal life" so you (general you) can't really just brush the whole thing off of some kind of unreasonable personal smear. Troopergate is NOT her personal life. I think that has significance. I would be PISSED if Obama picked a running mate with scandal like that going on right now.

Yeah. I'll care about them if they use underhanded tactics to highlight Obama's own wild years, but I have this thing against hypocrisy.

About that...she had an officer fired...her brother in law- because he beat his wife (her sister). Which, yeah, is an abuse of power, but I think it says something positive about her character.
