We need change...
Needing change is a theme in both major parties bid for the White House this election.
What change do you think is needed? What change do you think is being offered by the candidate you are supporting this election? Do you think change is needed at all or do you like the direction the country is going?

We need change economically, militarily, and in pretty much every other arena.
Obama plans to change our goals in the middle east from this win or take all mentality and that is important to me. We need BETTER welfare reform and I really hope Obama can get that ball rolling. The economy is so bad we are seeing able bodied people getting food stamps for the first time in their lives. It is scary and sad and horrible. At this point anything is better than what we are living with, so I just wnat any change at all

I mean, I do agree that we need change. Parking meters and snack/soda machines are useless without change, unless we switch to an all digital system and withdraw them directly from credit/checking accounts, but that's just not practical, especially in some rural areas. Pennies, however, can not be used in machines that take change, and therefore they should be eliminated. Nickles, dimes, quarters, and half-dollars are where it's at.

I think that the greatest change that we can make would be to return to the original definition of a corporation...
A corporation is a legal construct, not a person... Giving people the ability to hide their wrongdoing behind a legal construct has allowed for unprecedented amounts of corruption, just as the anonymity of the internet allows trolls to flourish. If a legal construct allows people to break the law without going to jail, well, that's just not fair, in my eyes. When they started, corporations had a time limit, typically for 5 years, but sometimes for 20 for large projects, that allowed many investors the opportunity to create something larger than they could create on their own, and at the end, those assets would then be split among the investors. It allowed massive growth with temporary legal protection, so that the investors would be able to finish their projects... Then, at the end of the project, the assets would be split up, and the legal protections would be lifted, making individuals legally responsible for their portion of the project once again. While the legal protections are essential in the beginning of the project, legal responsibility is essential to the economy in the long term... So yeah, the biggest change that I want to see is for corporations to be re-defined as they originally were, so that we could hold the individuals who lead corrupt corporations responsible.
