I personally feel naive because i didn't know they allowed live abortions..my heart was breaking at the end of that video..i'm personally not voting for Obama anyways..i just wanted your opinions!!!

I think the practice of taking any life after it has left the womb is disgusting at best.
That's definitely a propaganda video, though.
I will say, it is hard to be pro-choice but anti-certain methods. Especially when the bills voted on have more tacked on to the end. His voting record is online for anyone who wants to look, and if you're ambitious, read exactly what was voted on.

The whole procedure is sicken. Me being pro-life AND pregant, that vidoe was effective. However I can not help to think his voting was to kill babies. I am sure there is more to it, ya know?

The law he voted 'no' and 'present' on says that a child born alive after an induced labor which was induced as a late term abortion should receive all the care and help necessary to help keep that child alive. I am not sure though what exactly the laws are regarding late term abortions here in the US and what percentage of abortions are later term abortions.

Yeah, I didn't think for a second he was. I hate propaganda like that. I wish people would stop trying to trick us into thinking outrageous **** like that is true.

Propaganda. Scare tactics. Just because he was against a law as it was proposed does not mean he is FOR killing babies. I don't think anyone wants that. It seems to be more of an economic decision than promoting murder like the video would have you believe.

A late term abortion is a sticky moral ground, granted. There is no solid date at which it is defined as late term, so some define it as 12 weeks and others as late as the 20th week. They might be able to survive for a few hours that early, and it gives me the creeps to think about it, but the law would have made nurses prolong a life that is assuredly not viable by days or weeks.

Be against late term abortions if you must, but don't try to say that a vote against a poorly worded proposition means that a man wants to add to the suffering in this world. Use your brain, please.
