Dems have eyes wide shut?
So is Barack a mistake? Of the two it clearly came down to early on I always thought Senator CLinton would be the easier opponent. Possibly not?
http://article.nationalreview.com/?q...liNzM0NjlkNWE= The only way to sum up this whole 2008 thing is to say "You and me both" I don't think anyone (generally speaking) is really thrilled with the options Dem and Repub alike. |

I am quite convinced out of all 3 candidates Barack is the best. I am really not convinced that I want an almost 72 year old running our country. The democratic candidacy has really turned ugly and Hillary for one has been so ruthless in her tactics. The last politcal debate between the two made me ill watching because they were drudging up things that really have nothing to do with the political process.
I know who I will vote for!

say this. I assume by your first comment that of all three Barack is the best that you are voting for him..... but yet of all three the debate between the two (Barack being one of them) is what repulses you? |

I'm an Obama supporter and I really think of the candidates he would definitely be the best president. I think that McCain is a very respectable person, but I think that he's a little too close to the Bush administration. I really don't like Hillary. Sometimes I feel like she's acting as if he "deserves" the nomination because her husband was president. There's a recent poll that came out that showed that if Hillary and McCain faced off, they'd be tied, but if it was Obama and McCain then Obama has the edge.
The thing that's amazed me about Obama is that he's mobilized so many people. I work at a local campaign office and the number of people that I meet every day surprises me. People working together to make a difference, not a bunch of insiders trying to sway the election. There's an ad that was released here in NC that sickened me. Even though it's a GOP ad, I wonder if Hillary had anything to do with it. |

i for one am thrilled with the democratic candidate options this year (as much as i *can* be, at any rate - the whole thing does start to drive me a bit nuts, and i don't even live in an "important" state). i'm a big obama supporter but if clinton gets it i won't be that disappointed. i do think that there are better dem candidates this year than in the past couple elections.
