Hillary Clinton has done more to support middle-income earners, and specifically military families, in the time she has been in the national spotlight, than has any other viable candidate this season. Historically, Democratic candidates have been more supportive of things that directly impact military families than have Republicans. The concept that "Republicans support the military" is a myth and is recirculated throughout the military by people who earn more than $200,000 per year on the backs ** sometimes over the dead bodies ** of military members and their families (i.e. government contractors like Blackwater and KBR, and manufacturers in the military-industrial complex).

I like Obama but I don't really see a democrat winning this year.
It's been a democratic overkill and people are already sick of hearing about both Obama and Clinton. I think by the time it comes to vote people will be so sick of them they won't vote at all or vote for McCain. |

But now I'm curious- Which president have we had who you thought "led the military?" Really, I'm well aware of the whole "Commander in Chief" thing, trust me. But which president, other than Washington, has ever had "leading the military" within his functional grasp? |

In my mind, maybe I'm wrong, the president is the one who sent us to this war i.e. Iraq. So what is Obama's plan, bring everyone home and wait to see when we are attacked next? He didn't say it was wrong of Carter to meet with Hamas so would he? Does he have enough experience with the international community I guess? I know a lot of the Obama/Clinton race if throwing mud so it's hard to find his real position...JMHO. Thanks

I don't know who I will vote for. I don't like any of the candidates! DH and I were talking about it the other night and I said that I'm not sure I will vote at all this year. The reason being is I certainly do not want to *back the wrong horse*. I can't knowingly vote, therefore saying I support you and your views, if in my heart I do not.
I somewhat agree with each candidate, but not enough to say let's put them in office, because there are things they say, ideas they have that makes me want to run screaming! Most of my family and friends say that, for them, it comes down to which candidate will do the least collateral damage in office. It's unfortunate that voting for president has went from the one who can lead this country to greatness, to the one who will be the less damaging at the wheel!
