WWYD?? I DO NOT like Obama..he scares me!
I do not think he has the experience, knowledge or understanding of foreign politics to be a good president. In fact..he seems VERY fake when I listen to him and "rehearsed"on the flip side..I DO NOT like McCain either. He is VERY shady to me and I am not sure I trust him as far as I could throw him!So here is my dilemma..do i vote at all??? I couldnt begin to figure out which one is the lesser of 2 evils. I have never voted in Maine so I dont know if they have a write in..which i would use to vote for myself but seriouslyWWYD??

I was actually going to post something similar to this. I'm personally not voting at all. I don't feel like I agree with what either one stands for. In some ways I am split down the middle on the issue, but for the most part I feel like both of those canidates aren't the best. Does that make sense?

Yes it makes sense. It just really worries me, with us being in the middle of several different wars, the economy so horrid..people loosing homes, not being able to afford to drive...the enviroment so jacked up...and we dont have 1 person who has a plan! At least a plan that would HELP some of these issues!

I am the type who will vote no matter what but I will not just random vote or vote for the independent because I don't like either if the main ones. No one is going to agree 100% for someone, even if it is someone they lik. I plan on doing the research, watch the debates and choose the person who is on the same page as me with my areas of concern.

That is what dh said. He told me that no one is ever going to agree with someone 100%, but to vote for the one that I agreed with the most. lol!

I am voting for Obama--
here are my reasons why: he *is* inexperienced = I feel NO one has enough experience to be POTUS. ( that president of the unites states) what kind of experience does anyone have? he is for change- and even though the US does not like change change is what we need. he has kids in school ( albiet private) but he still has little ones- this IMO gives him the insight to all the things we as parents are looking at, schools, the stupid no child left behind act, crime and drugs. he is young enough to remember being poor- and having to struggle. he also knows that without his higher education he would not be standing in the place he is- I believe him when he says he wants to make college affordable for everyone- what do YOU think his studen loan payments looked like? An I find him to be the most honest of the 4- what sticks in my mind about that is when this all started - he was asked if he "inhaled" pot while in College-- his reply " wasn't that the point". and that when young we do foolish things, and when we are old we don't do those foolish things. and NOT one more issue was brought up about it. Do I fear for him as POTUS? absolutely - but hopefully we have enough money going into the secret service that an assassination will not be possible. we need someone in office wheo is not affraid to stand up and fight for what our country needs -- here in our land, here on our soil, here where our children will grow, and here were most of will die.

I will vote no matter what. I think that you have to just pray about it (if that is your belief) and make the decision as to who you think will represent you the best.

It has always been a lesser of two evils decision for me. You just aren't going to agree with everything a candidate says, and they are all politicians and are all shady and fake. So, my advice is to vote for the least scary, cuz that's really all you can do.
