Sarah Palin is the first female governor of Alaska, where she took office in 2006. According to her official website, "her top priorities have been resource development, education and workforce development, public health and safety, and transportation and infrastructure development." She's a mother of four, an Alaska resident, and a member of the NRA, a marathon runner and outdoorsman, and was the chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. Many have referred to Palin as a force to be reckoned with among Republicans.

Governor Palin has the potential to bring a great deal to McCain bid for the White House come November.
