Ok I don't debate politics for the main fact no one is going to win. You have your opinions and I have mine. Not a sentence or an endorsement will change that.
I'm so sick of everyone picking apart Mccain and Barack on crap that has nothing to do with if they could run the country or not. No, I'm not voting for Mccain but what does his wife past drug history have to do with anything???! Yes, I'm voting for Barack but what does a freaking Ben & Jerry endorsement have to do with anything? Why is the endorsements even in the damn news? And if someone is waiting to see how many "celebrities" the other candidates have on their side then why the hell are you even voting? Obviously you don't have a mind of your own and you have to see if Oprah (that has a good talk show and give to the needy but um so!) or Arnold (Freaking Terminator turned governor who I have no idea what the hell he's talking about half the time) endorse anybody? Who cares!? So you can yell to your lungs turn blue that Mccain is a old fart and you don't like him or that Barack is young and has no experience. But people are going to vote and in the end its a winner. I'm soooo sick of this damn election and I was just wondering is anyone else just sick of it too. Nothing is going to change my mind about who I'm voting for. I don't care if a sex tape pops up for Obama I'm still voting for Obama. And if you are a true die hard supporter of Mccain and it comes out that he exxagerated doing things while he was in the military then would you not vote for him? If so why? What does any of those things have to do with running the country. Don't you have sex? Don't you exxagerate a story every now and again? "Is it freaking November yet!!" ![]() ***And before I get any smart reponses saying "this is what a election is all about"...then onk I know that.
I just wish people would just listen to what each candidate is saying, than what the media is saying for them or about them.***

Very well said.I agree completely with you.I think a lot of people don't vote on the things that really matter, unfortunately.I will honestly be glad once this whole election is over with. Some of it is just ridiculous.

I too totally agree with you statement.
but I love it when Obama was asked if he ever inhaled the pot he smoked-- his rely was classic " isn't that the point"!!! come on no matter who you are you gotta admit it was awesome-- and you know what no one talks about it any more. yes Senator Obama is young, but EVERY one is inexperienced to become the "PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES" ... I want a fresh face in the white house, I want someone who will shake things up, I want someone to say " damn it that is enough!!!" I want someone with kids in school, I want someone young enough to remember what it is like to be a broke college student, or young enough to remember how hard it was with the first baby.. I want someone who will take action because it is the right thing to do,, not because it will look good... I really think Mr. Obama can do all or most of those things.

I agree completely with this, and just want to add that people HATE Hillary, but have no reasoning behind it, either. And when Hillary was just in my town (literally BLOCKS from my house), I didn't even know.... but I DID know that Obama was speaking in Seattle that day. Why? Probably cause the media neglected to mention it. STOP LISTENING TO THE STUPID MEDIA. Just listen to the canidates. Sorry, kinda just freaked out right there. Guess I had some pent up aggression about this issue, huh?? |

I wish there was less of a political line. I just hate that everyone is so AGAINST everyone else. I just wish even though we don't all see eye to eye, we could each find some common ground. I don't mind people being passionate about their beliefs, but that doesn't mean Jenny from the Block has to agree with you, and maybe, just maybe you each have something in common. I don't know, I may be going out on a Tangent.
Green-Mammy had this on her siggie at one point,(I think it was her, and I LOVE it) Anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy That is my honest opinion. |
