What do you guys think of this comment? I think I know who is going to say what, but....for the sake of debate....I'm asking anyway...

"For the first time in my adult lifetime I am really proud of my country."

I think in a way she has a point. We as a country have gotten really lost somewhere along the way. I hope we're on our way back to something we can all be proud of, too.

I agree with her,for the most part.Aside from the good things during Bill Clinton's presidency--what has America done to be proud of while she was an adult or while most of us were either?Vietnam,the Gulf War,how 9/11 was handled.Most people are finally fed up and want change.Even if they don't neccesarily want her husband to win,people as a whole are finally starting to say "enough is enough."And that is something to be proud of,in my opinion.

Yes exactly. There have been so many times in my life I have been proud of my country and I'm only 28. She is how old? I can't imagine this being the only time she's been proud? And odd b/c right now pride in America is pretty darn low so this is an odd time for her to be proud.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever really been proud of America. then again, I haven't really been proud of the world, either. We are all just greedy *****es.

I don't see anything wrong with with she said, but I know that John Mccain's wife had something to say about that.
