Since the Democrats are almost in a dead heat...
Who do you think will end up with the nomination and why?
Not who do you WANT to win the nomination... The Hilary hater stuff is old. I would love to hear some real opinions on who people think will actually get it and why they think so.

To be honest, I'll be voting Republican so I haven't paid as much attention as I should to the democratic elections. I'm in SC, however, so a lot of what I hear is pro-Obama...so that's who I picked in the survey
![]() Also, I read part of one of his books, and he does seem like a very intelligent, interesting person, regardless of his political beliefs.

I picked Obama.
I think he will end up with it because the Clinton family's true colors are finally starting to show, and people are beginning to wise up. Obama won quite a few states in the last few days, and Clinton if feeling the heat, changing her people around etc. He is very charismatic, and they are all as one article put it "at this point running on the platform Edwards built" I'd rather he get it than her even, even if I still am not overly keen on him. That is however, not quite taking into account the FL Dem delegates which still have a chance to be restored at the convention... (there was talk that Clinton could make this happen) if she does, then she will have won that state, and quite a few delegates, as we are a winner take all state. I don't know if those delegates are being factored into the count of the pundits right now though... (because sometimes it seems that way and sometimes not) If she doesn't use her pull and "other things" to make magic happen for her side, Obama will end up with it, more than likely. But, it will still be interesting to see. |

I WANT Hillary to get it, but I don't think she will if they end up tied. I think Obama will end up getting the nomination. Like someone on TV said the other day... Sexism is much more rampant than racism in our society. Sadly, I think that is true.
I would love to see an Obama/Clinton ticket though.

I honestly don't think it's so much a sexism thing as it is an anti-Clinton/anti-Hillary thing. I know I feel that way for a variety of reasons.
That would be an interesting ticket combination though, for sure. They've surprised me this election with the debating... even with wal mart boards, and slum lord barbs being thrown, they're on a first name basis, and all kinds of warm fuzzy things that even throw the pundits for a loop

I think Coburn would be an interesting choice... and Huckabee would be a death sentence for him and for our country. |

I know way too many people who hate her for no reason other than she is a woman, and aren't afraid to admit it. I know even more people who have NO IDEA why they hate her so much but when they do finally come up with a reason it is usually tied up in her being either too emotional, not emotional enough, or not leaving Bill when he was getting a hummer in the Oval Office. NONE of that stuff is an issue for the men. We have men who have cried, who have acted like complete *******s, who have stood up there during a speech and insulted half of the country and our allies, and who have repeatedly cheated on their spouses in the past and none of that was an issue. So, that leads me to believe that it is a woman thing. I don't think that people even realize they are doing it sometimes. They just have different expectations when it comes to men and women, which is inherently sexist. The debates totally crack me up. I think it is understood that the bottom line is getting a Democrat in the White House so they can end the war. And so far, it is working for them!

I`m not a US Citizen but if I had to chose between the 2 of them it would be Obama as he appears more genuine and honest. Hillary has been caught and also admitted to be lying several times. I dont trust her.
