Picture frames - During Deployment

Would you send one over to Iraq? I'm sure it probably varies, but do you think they have the space for one?

My mom had me get a picture taken before i go off to grad school and so I got a copy to send over to DB. If you weren't going to put it in a frame how would you send it over?? TIA!

My husband is on a ship but I sent a few of the plastic magnetic frames to him. Maybe go that route? Not necessary one with a magnet not sure he'd have anything to magnet it to, but a plastic frame so at least there is no glass to get broken or anything. Other than that, I'd just keep it small, like 4x6 or something so it doesn't take up too much room. Just a thought.

id send it! db shares his "can" with only 1 other guy so im pretty sure he has some room for a picture frame. i haven't sent him one, but i was thinking about it for our anniversary. if you know that he has some room id send the picture frame just package it up reallly reallly good so the glass doesn't break and i dont know if id write "picture frame" on the customs form incase they ask about it being glass-breakable. if not then id just send the picture maybe laminate it? that way he could still put it up if he wanted without harming the picture. i laminated a picture of myself for db and he loves it because he can keep it on him and it doesnt get bent. i went to kinkos it was cheap!

I'd ask him next time I talked to him what he would rather have out there. If you don't wanna ask (if it's a surprise), then I would just get a cheap plastic frame so it's no biggie if it gets broken. Like Chelsea said, it may not be a bad idea to laminate it so he can carry it, or maybe do that instead of a frame so he can put it where ever he wants.

i just printed pics out with my photo printer on that new post it photo paper so he could stick it to anything!. that lamenating thing is a good idea....yes i am aware that i do not know how to spell tonight
