I didn't think i needed support.. - During Deployment

Yeah, i thought wrong, I've been through one of his deployments before, but that was at the beginning of us, and this is over two years later. I took him to the airport at 3:00 this morning, and still haven't slept, he's in training in Wyoming for a week, then he's off to UAE for 7 months, and that pretty much seems like an eternity, i know it could be worse, and we're lucky he didn't go anywhere hostile, but I'm reacting like he is. It just sucks, and i thought i could just man-up and deal, but I'm being a baby. I just miss him so much already, and it hasn't even really started yet.

It's always hard

And no deployment can prepare you for another. Each one is completely different. We just get more used to the idea that they have to do it.

It will get easier. The worst days for me were the ones right after he left, and right before he came home. If you need someone to vent to, feel free to PM me!

This makes sense to me but scares me at the same time!!

Don't feel bad about needing support, it takes a stronger person to ask for help than to try to do it all on your own. If you need anything, feel free to PM me!
