date changes once again - During Deployment

Hello everyone!
So this has been my first deployment it is coming to an end hopefully this month!! wohooo I'm so excited DB has been gone for almost a year now! But the not so good part is the dates have been switched so many times of when they are going to arrive home and they have no idea anymore

it always seems like the millitary is doing that, but it's stressful when your at school and trying to plan ahead of time but don't know how to when you don't know the date, do you ladies have any advice or anyone have stories of this happening to them and how far in advance you actually found out a date? Anything would be helpful, thanks

No answers, but in a longggggg time I will be in the same situation. DB will be coming back to Ft Drum NY and I will still be in school at Kansas...so I am not sure how it will work out and I def do NOT want to miss the homecoming.

I know it's stressful not knowing, but I don't want to miss homecoming either that's what you look forward too!!

I'm going through my first deployment too and that has been happening to us constantly..It gets really frustrating.

Im also in my first but we have experienced this with almost any dates, they change constantly no matter. Im sorry its so frustrating, I hope you can somehow arrange to be there and work through all the uncertainty!

Your FRG should brief you. Are you in contact with any of the other wives?

ETA My date has changed a million times.. even getting pushed back a month. Don't sweat it. Horay for homecomings!!

the military is always changing the dates! i know its frusterating, but just hang in there and know that he is going to be home soon!!!!
