Nightmares and Movies

I can't watch any type of war movie now. I used to actually enjoy them...

Also, I am having nightmares of his deployment. Two nights in a row now. I woke up yelling two mornings ago, and then last night I woke up sitting straight up in my bed at midnight. I just had awful dreams and seriously couldn't wait till it was time to get up...I wake up several times in the night too, checking my phone and just end up praying for him.

I just didn't think I'd be getting nightmares. It's really bothering me...my sleep has been so good lately. I guess I can't watch war movies before I go to bed.

Movies don't bother me. Try and think of positive things right before you fall asleep. Read a book, stare at his pics. I have a digital photo frame and I fall asleep staring at the pics.

The only problem I have is even in my dreams I find myself searching for J and he's always so close but I can never get to him. Damn deployment has invaded my dreams.

Is your house cold? I read in a magazine that cold can cause bad dreams. I started having some a few nights ago and then i turned the heat up a lil and haven't had any again. I've never been able to watch war movies.. My problem is if I watch crime shows I'm afraid to go to sleep at night cuz I think someone will break in haha

My house is FREEZING. My room mate doesn't turn it past 65 sometimes. She owns the house...I sleep with an electric blanket though.

Thanks for the tips ladies! I'll look at his pictures before I sleep and pray for him.
