So, DF is trying to be mr romantical surprise man. BUT...i'm glad someone gave me a heads up. DF told me he isnt getting R/R till December/January. Well, HOLY SHEEP, I found out that he is on the first flight out for THIS MONTH!!!!! Of course not sure WHEN during this month that will be. Im super excited to see him, but kind of sad that the deployement isnt going to be broken up a bit more. He just doesnt know that I KNOW!!!! He wants to just ring the doorbell and be standing there on my doorstep to surprise me. So glad that another wife gave me the headsup because I would have been sitting here, legs unshaved, no make up on looking like crapola! I'm a wee bit disppointed too, I wanted to be the one to pick him up from the airport, and be the first person he saw.

That's sweet of him. It's totally what my DB would do. But I understand how you feel. I've told my DB several times that I would rather he not surprise me, so that I have something to look forward to.

That is sweet he wants to surprise you...but don't guys konw we need to be prepared!!! At least this way you can kind of be prepared...but you aren't sure EXACTLY when he will be home so you will still be surprised!! The crappy part is you will jump EVERY time your doorbell rings thinking its him

that will be torture for the next few weeks! At least you can know to keep your legs and pits shaved, and eybrows plucked!

RIGHT!!!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! yeah and I dont know WHEN this month, so techincally its still a surprise! But yup I'm gonna go nuts everytime the bell rings
