Just getting annoyed - During Deployment

Since DH deployed I just find myself getting annoyed alot eaiser with people. Certain people I just can't stand to talk to any more. All they do is whine and stuff and it drives me nuts. It seems like theres SO many people who want to just whine annd complain, but won't do ANYTHING to fix the situation. I can't help them, if they won't help themselves. I guess with so much going on in my life, I'm starting to want to deal less with other peoples situations, especially the ones who won't do anything for themselves. I know its not nessicarly right. But I dunno. I can't figure it out yet.

I feel the same way a lot of the time. I get really fed up when someone complains all the time and constantly says they wish things could be different but refuse to do anything to make it happen. It's not wrong, I don't think. You've got to take care of yourself first and thats exactly what you're doing! You're kicking this deployment's butt!

I felt the exact same way when DH was deployed, I just stayed away from certain people just to be safe.

i feel the same way a lotttt of the time, especially when people complain about things they have control over (like you said!)

Add me to the list of feeling the same. My tolerance for people has gone down quite a bit.

I think part of the reason it's so annoying when people whine and complain is that a) when they refuse to do anything to change the situation! and b) at least they're not deployed or going through a deployment.

I always try to get people to see that things could always be worse! Or at least I try to remember that myself

I feel exactly the same way! I'm trying to remain positive during this deployment, because I figure if I remain positive things will stay as positive as possible, right? Well, it seems like so many people around me are super negative! Girls with their SO's with DB, and even DB's sister. Ugh, it's annoying!

If you ever need to just vent, I'm here.

so many people in general irritate me... I just stay away as much as I can and for those that I can't avoid I may be a little snappy but then I apologize ... usually lol
