He lost one of his men - During Deployment

DF lost one of his men yesterday. While it was not his fault directly (freak accident), he IS RESPONSIBLE for all of his guys and now he will be coming home in less than a month without one of them. I just dont know what to do or say to him to make him feel better?? Please pray for the guy's family and for the men who were injured.

I am so sorry. I can not imagine what your SO, the rest of his unit, and that persons friends and family are going through. idk if there's anything you can say to him except to let him know you're there for him.

I know that's difficult. DF had a similar situation & is still pretty heartbroken/shaken up about it all. They get to be like family out there.
Just be there for him, and I'm sure you're already doing that so keep it up.

I really don't know what to say to him. I agree with everyone else, just be there for him. Prayers to you, your DF, the rest of his men, and their friends and family.
