Getting Anxious - During Deployment

Ok, so my husband has been gone for almost a month and a half now. However, he is still at his MOB station. He leaves soon to go over seas and I am getting very anxious. Obviously, it will be more dangerous, I'm worried about how often we will communicate, etc. Just ready for this all to be over.

Take one day at a time right now and don't think about what is to come. Remember that he's trained for this and he's got you so he won't take unneccessary chances. Hang in there and PM me if you need anything.

The anxiety is rough in the beginning...you just don't know what to expect. I agree with Blinkybear...just take it 1 day at a time.

HUGS! When DF actually left the U.S., I have to confess that it was rough. I had a few really hard nights, but thanks to these women and the strength I borrowed from them, things got much better. They absolutely will for you, too. You and your SO will find ways to stay close and to keep in touch. For the rough nights, we are, of course, here for you! Stay positive, don't be afraid to be sad once in a while, but keep busy. Wallowing in it never helps. You can do this, dear. You really can. PM if you ever need anything!

I will agree that the first few days were the worst...and this site has helped me ALOT during my bad days & nights..I am so thankful for this site...I still have a ways to go til he gets back but I have to be honest I cant believe that it has been almost 3 months...After the first 2 weeks it just seems that the time is going by ...Just take it all one day at a time ..and we are always here if you need to talk

After the beginning you'll get into routines, and then it'll go much easier.
