Navy firefighters?? - During Deployment

I know I already asked this, but I thought maybe different people would be online tonight... Does anyone have SO in a Navy firefighting division?? My DB just got in and I had a few questions...

My husband is not in the firefighting division, but he is doing the firefighting school training in florida right now, as a aviation boatswain mate, they have to know most of that stuff. I wish I could help. Surely someone here can.

Thank you! I know, I was really hoping someone would have a SO firefighter. You're DH's job sounds pretty cool though

My dh isn't in the exact division for FF but in the Navy every sailor is a FF..my dh might be able to help but hes not home at the moment...what was your db's questions? I'm sure some of the dh's could probably help

Well my DB said that when he gets back from his deployment, he needs to go to school in Chicago for this. I will find out the exact name of his division, because apparently it's not "firefighting division" hehe. But I wanted to know if anyone knew how long he would have to go to school for, and if he might get re-located after school?
