I got Con's schedule from now until Deployment and I just feel numb. I thought I was sad, but I'm not. I pretty much have no feeling about this at all. Last time I found out his ship and scedule- I was sad. This time I feel nothing really. I don't get it.

when is there next big deploy? i think after awhile of being affiliated with the navy and adjusting to the lifestyle of workups and short deploys, you get more "used to" it and it doesn't bother you as much... perhaps that's the numbness you feel....

Yup I know the feeling. This last deployment I was actually so happy about cause the 4 month deploy beat out the 18 months that he was supposed to spend overseas! But I know that we are right back to ships schedule and it usually SUCKS big time!

Yeah, I keep thinking of everything he is going to miss, but seriously I can't be too upset. It's his job. We made the ultimate decision for him to join the Navy and how can I be mad, sad or overly upset since we knew what we were getting into? Damn, I need to hurry up and finish quilting the kid's handprints on the blanket!!
Yes, I STILL haven't finished it!
