When your SO is gone... - During Deployment

Do any of you notice yourselves going out to eat more than you usually do instead of cooking? I would imagine it would mainly be ones without kids, but I'm just curious

Yep. When dh would deploy I would always go out to eat. ANd for some weird reason I would even lose weight

Those days are lonnnnnggggg gone now tho

I'll be cooking for most of the meals and taking the kiddos out to eat as a treat

It depends on how long of a day i had at work. Sometimes we will stop somewhere and grab something

Glad I'm not alone!!! I've cooked mac and cheese, but that's about it...basically everything else has been out.

I use to do that or I would eat alot of cereal & just simple stuff instead of cooking a whole big meal

Even with kids when the husband was gone fast food was much easier than cooking.
