Update on my pictures....

So I went yesterday and had my sexy pictures done for DH, well I went back tonight and picked out the pictures I wanted in DH's photo album I am having made for him for V-day... First off ladies, the pictures came out amazing I had to choose from 67 pictures and I had to narrow it down into 16. You can not even imagine how hard that was, I lOVED LOVED LOVED them all. Anyways so I placed my order, they are going into a red leather 5X7 photo book with the words "For Your Eyes Only" embossed in black wording on the front of the album, and the pictures will actually be printed onto the pages of the album, not on sleeves inside of it... So I am sooooo excited... now the wait begins to actually get them back so I can send them out to DH.. he said probably 3 weeks as he has to touch them up first and he has some others to do before mine He is not doing much in the way of touchup other then I had a few bruises on my leg he is taking out, plus he is going to give me a bit more of a "tan" , oh and he is goign to cover up the tattoo of the Greatful Dead teddy bear on my right ankle, for some reason it kinda detracted from the sexy pictures other than that all was good. Price was REALLY steep, all in all $802.50 after taxes for the album/photo shoot. I am kinda bummed that for $800 all I get is one album, I wish I could get them all saved on a disk kwim, oh well Otherwise, all in all, a GREAT experience I would reccomend it to anyone.... DH is GONNA FLIP when he gets this album I wish I could be a fly on the wall to see his response

WOW that is a really steep price! They really should give you a CD with all of the photos on it. Especially since there were only 67!

The books that have photos as "pages" are expensive to make, that is probably what took up most of that $800! How awesome,though! If you are in Jacksonville (I *think* that is where you are at, if not disregard), do you mind saying where you got them done or what photographer you used?

WOW I think 800 seems like a lot too, but I'm SO glad to hear they came out great!!! And heck if it was worth it why not right, its a once in a lifetime kinda thing!

LOL, I have to admit after reading your posts before, it made me want to take them, soo I searched the internet that same night and emailed a place near me And I'm gonna go do it probably a month or two before DB gets back, then I'm gonna send them to him, with a card (thats WAY cute) that says, you thought your deployment was tiring??? and the inside says "Rest Up" hehehe! I think that will be awesome!

Yup, the printing and the album definately made up alot of the price. The quality and look of the album he showed me is absolutely stunning though, so it was definately worth it and this was one of those once in a lifetime things you know I just cant tell DH how much they cost


As for where I got them done I went to a place in the Avenues Mall called Damon photography, you can go to his website and see some of his work www.damonphotography.com if you click on galleries go to glamour shots I HIGHLY reccomend him, he did the shoot with his wife as his assistant and they were both just super awesome, and I am a very self-conscious person and I did not feel uncomfortable around them at all, so we got some GREAT pictures....

Exactly. Good luck if you decide to get those done, they are sooo much fun and definately a great keepsake for your man! And what a cute idea to say when you send them
