Is deployment over yet???
Ok so today has been one of those bad days. I really miss my DF and I have been sad and in tears most of the day. He hasn't come online and he hasn't called. I have great news to tell him. Our youngest son JB who is about to be 1 year old took his first steps today. I was so happy but then I broke down and started crying cause his daddy missed it. I promised DF that I would video tape everything like that and I did but I am afraid of sending it to him cause you can hear me bawling in the background. DF will be so proud of his boy for that but I don't want to bum him out cause he missed it. I am so miserable. Damn is this ****ing deployment over yet. I feel like my heart is missing. I am an emotional wreck. My family doesn't understand so they don't know what to say and when they do say something it turns into an insensitive comment. I was doing so good but now this today. I felt like I had this being strong thing down packed yea ok. I don't know if to tell him though. Ahhh my heart is breaking so bad right now.
Can't I just declare peace and the troops come back home? (hopeful wishing) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

deep breath deep breath...send him the video! i think he will love to see that...hey it might really brighten up his day!...he knows he is going to miss stuff like that...it is reality...it is going to happen...so you might as well show him and let him be happy...
i think sometimes the troops think time freezes at home...but it doesn't, life goes on even without them there and it is SUCH a hard thing to imagine but its true and it is REAL! Maybe the video of his son walking will make him realize that and make him move on from it ya know? I would include him in everything that his children and you do to the best of your ability...no do not walk around with a camera and web cam 24 hours a day, because hunny you need a life too! but try your hardest to capture those special moments as best as you can Why not try to go out and do something, take the kids out to dinner or go for a ride just to get out of your house...Im sure your children don't like seeing their mommy sad!! I hope things get better for you...do not make this deployment your life because it will consume you...try to do some stuff for you and for the kids and try to block out that hes gone...I know that must seem impossible and i think for awhile it will be impossible, but you have to try! you can do it and we on sos are all here to help...pm me if you need anything...hugs

Hi hun. I'd like to give you a
and congratulate you on your sons first steps. I am so sorry that your hubby is not around to see some things but I know he would be really happy to see the video if not in person. I think you should send it. Cheer up hun...the first month is the worst part of it.

I wish i could get out of my house but I dont have a car and no one is ever here. It is normally just me and the kids. I hate this I feel like I am losing my mind. I miss him so much I am gonna send him the video now I hope he can receive it, I wish i knew how to mute the sound so he cant hear me bawling my eyes out |
