    Midtour Over Left Depressed...

    Advertisements
Hi, I'm Shelby. New to the group and needing some help..
My hubs has been gone since May and just had a 15 day midtour. It was great and I felt we were better than ever. He left last night to go back to his duty station and all day today I have felt "out of it", overthinking everything, balling just not feeling okay... This isn't our first time so I don't understand why I feel like this but I'd love to hear that maybe y'all have gone through this at some point and how to help it..
I might add we just purchased our first house in his home town, I know absolutely no one but his parents and thats it.. We have a 2 year old daughter.

I know how you feel. Back when dh was deployed, he got 4 days of liberty and by the end of it, I was in absolute tears. We spent 4 days together and it was all wonderful, but when I got back to the house, it was empty and there wasn't anyone there. I felt absolutely horrible. I cried for 3 days.

DH: Thank you. ME: For what, babe? DH: For being you.

Midtours are great but hard as well. Give yourself some time, I was in a funk after my husband left for around two weeks.

My DB hasn't been on a deployment long enough to have a midtour but I wanted to offer you a and let you know you're not alone! Please stick around and I know you'll get the advice and support you're looking for.
